I just renewed my DL online and didn't have to send in my DD214 again. In fact, because I'm more than 50% disabled, I didn't have to send in proof of disability again and that is something that can change. Total cost $Free.99 God Bless Texas! :txflag:
I had to go in to the DPS to change the address on my DL because I have a CDL. I took a copy of DD 214 just in case. They said they didn't need to see it because it was already in the system. This goes back to my original question, if it is already in the system with the CHL (DPS), why do you have to resend it on a renewal? Baldeagle, my original question wasn't actually directed at you, it was more of a rhetorical one, but I understand your frustration. :cheers2:

How early can you renew? I'm good for now, but just wondering? Do they send some kind of notice or renewal letter? Thanks in advance.
