Sigirl,
My wife has a P239 also. I think it would be too big/heavy for an ankle rig.

My wife uses a "belly band" and carries around 11:00 for cross draw with her right hand.

She also has an OWB holster she can use at 1:00(appendix carry).

The purse is #1 by far. The belly band, a distant 2nd. The OWB, never, since she got the belly band.

Whatever you do, DON'T LEAVE IT AT HOME!
