PPE (phenylephedrine) and PPA (phenylpropanolamine) were dangerous drugs BEFORE they learned how to make Meth out of pseudoephedrine, IMHO, and should never have been licensed for OTC sale without a prescription.

This coming from someone who was a paramedic in the mid 70's to early 80's. I could tell you about calls involving phenylephedrine that would curl your toes.

But then, I could tell you the same about chiropractors, and they're still legal, too...
