Now that is no longer a penalty if you do not produce your CHL is the above still true? I read a report that a CHL holder was told by a LEO that he had his CHL (when he could ot produce it) because the CHL was still in the mail. I emailed in my paperwork 1/4/13 and just got the update today that they are waiting for the background check.

Were you able to send your passport photos this way as well?

EDIT:

I just read another thread where someone said they uploaded thier picture. It also seems like you may not even need one, that you can request they use your drivers liscence photo.
