I fly commercial for free but normally fly the cherokee due to the convenience it provides and in the cherokee I carry on my hip just like I would in my truck but my rule for passengers is unless they are among a very select few highly trusted individuals I require the gun to be unloaded and in the back and I also require everybody to tell me if they have a gun before boarding but that is the result of a bad experience with a passenger who will never fly with me again.lancermit wrote:Same here. I just have to ask myself if I can carry on board. 'Course that's usually just toolin' around Texas in a six-seater. I couldn't tell you much about how things work on the airlines, because I haven't flown on a commercial airliner in 14+ years.

Re: Airplane carry
I carry on private planes all the time but getting permission from the pilot in command is easy since that's me . Even with an airline employee ID card I can't carry on an airliner.
