Re: Anyone have a good solution for jogging and carrying.
I run allot, including weekly long runs in the 2-2.5 hour range currently. I prefer to carry and wear as little as possible which makes a fanny pack of any type pretty much unbearable. I have had ok luck with a bellyband and my small Ruger LCP, my cell phone and CHL in one of the pockets. I am lean ...

Re: Places to carry? Can I?
I carry 24/7 but have run into a The city library - had a "firearms are prohibited" gun buster sign" My bank has one of those. It doesn't even say 'no weapons', it's just the gun buster sign. They're a bank, I figure if they really wanted to prohibit a CHL from carrying, they would h...

Re: CHL and DL Don't Match
Someone posted a story elsewhere that they had to endure the NICS check while buying a firearm because there CHL address said "CR" and the DL had "CIR" after the street name I would've walked. I could maybe see that being valid in a city like Atlanta where every street is named ...

Re: What to expect at a GSSF match
Thanks! I have been all over the web site, was just looking for feedback from those who have done it :) OK, here is MY best advice on Glock matches. Accuracy counts far more than speed. Missing a shot will cost you 10 seconds. So, slow down, aim carefully, and you will do better. Also, bring extra ...

What to expect at a GSSF match
I have entered, with my Mother, my first shooting competition, a GSSF match in Kansas this coming July. I was wondering what to expect and what the best preparation would be. The match is on an outdoor range, I mainly have access to indoor ranges in my area. I will be entering as an amateur/sub comp...

Full time RV'ers may have better answers than us to tell the truth. The deal with establishing residency and issues surrounding a PO box vs a street address. Perhaps check out one of their forums or contact the Goodsams club

Alright alright - mass illegal exit off the interstate to avoid a traffic jam . . . my bad.[/quote]
A bunch of us did that in Sherman off of hwy 75, topped a little hill into a hornet's nest of Law Enforcement, troopers, sheriffs dept, local PD-everyone got ticketed.

Re: Does your mom know you carry?
Mine does, her Ks permit arrived while I was there visiting. She also gave me a Glock G26! Kansas allows open carry so I got that out of my system as well

6 weeks, nothing to report
My CHL arrived 6 weeks ago and I have been carrying daily since then. I seemed to have adapted quickly to the fact that I am carrying, but still learning and adjusting to the mechanics of carrying and the clothing I own and wear. I've done all the usual things, Walmart, cabelas, Kroger, gas, commuti...

Re: Knife on the Freeway
It is hard to imagine an insurance company having a policy that covers someone driving on a suspended license. Does it sound like "keep your mouth shut about the license and the insurance will take care of you, but if you squeal, then the insurance finds out about the suspension and you have t...
