Were they in a safe and he got the combination or were they not secured? I am sure this will be the subject of further discussion in the days ahead. One report was given of a former neighbor who said Adam had Asperger's and OCD. She also reported the mom was a good mom, but very restrictive and Adam was sometimes rebellious against that.
I question if it really was a bullet proof vest, or just a tactical vest. We find a lot of these are reported originally as body armour when in reality they aren't.

Right. Why would someone wear a bullet proof vest to a murder suicide? I'm sure it was just a tactical vest that served no purpose.

To those who are saying "Something should be done!", the Gun-Free School Zones law was enacted in 1990.

And unless the shooter was licensed to carry, it can't be blamed on CHL holders.

In short, it's a people problem, not a gun problem.

something should be done!

these darn gun free zones need to go. my wife is a teacher and it makes me sick to see this stuff happening and all the teachers are told to do is to block themselves in there room and be a freaking target.. sick..

our schools need gun toting personnel to make these idiots think twice before pulling these massacres on our little children.. a freaking kindergarden class for chirst sakes :confused5
