City courthouse with 30.06 and 30.07 sign. Legal?
I'm getting very conflicting information on this but I was under the impression that state courthouses could not legally post 30.06 and 30.07 signs on their property. The Forney Sub-Courthouse has both posted on the outside of their door. Are they allowed to do that? If not, how do I get them to rem...

Re: NFA tax stamp and your local TX gun range?
Good news - my suggestion was accepted and acted on immediately and effective today no more asking for your papers at our range. So sorry for the previous issues but it is no longer one. James If this is true moving forward you just gained a ton of business from me. I will ask for you when I...

Re: NFA tax stamp and your local TX gun range?
Chris, that is the policy at ShootPointBlank, it's in the range rules that you signed when you bought the waiver. I was teaching the LTC class last night but saw Dave T. come in with his Glock Gen5 shirt on and said hey. Didn't know he was shooting any NFA items. I would have said Hi if I would hav...

NFA tax stamp and your local TX gun range?
Is there a requirement for you to bring your original tax stamp to the range when shooting a suppressor, SBR, or other NFA item? Today is the second time I've been told by a friend that they were turned away from a range because they only had a copy of their paperwork. My gun range has never asked m...

Re: Leave your firearm at home during vacation?
I'm going overseas in a few weeks and plan on putting all but one of my guns into my bank's safety deposit box. I don't own a gun safe....yet.

Re: BANK CHL declined
There's almost no such thing as carrying a concealed weapon. It's easy to tell when someone has one on their waist, even a rookie cop can spot that from a mile away. Load of bull. I've been stopped by 6 DPS Officer ( Once looking for a drug trafficker- five that time + a drug dog, once by an Office...

They might be able to tell you have something under your shirt, but they can't tell it's a gun. Could be a cell phone, multi tool, or...

Re: Dispelling a myth about "no guns allowed" signs
I most definitely have busted a myth. People on this forum think "a no guns allowed sign with no 30.06 or 30.07 sign means I'm safe to carry here" which isn't the case. The business owner clearly doesn't want your business. Every business I've been to with a "no guns allowed" sig...

Dispelling a myth about "no guns allowed" signs
I see this repeated by friends and people on this forum and it needs to be corrected. The myth: No guns allowed signs are not enforceable, only the 30.06 and 30.07 sign. Wrong wrong WRONG. No guns allowed has force of law by the business owner or an agent authorized to act on their behalf. Open carr...

Refusing to let me copy your ID voids all current and future sales. well gee umm, good enough for me, keep your merchandise that is over priced and I don't need anyway and I'll spend my money to enrich someone else's life. it is in violation of us government regulations and law to copy some of my I...

Re: Close call in parking lot
Tulsa has unfortunately become a very bad place for random murders. North Tulsa is no place you want to be at anytime, and near southeast isn't a whole lot better. Everyone says North Tulsa is dangerous but South Tulsa is leading in number of murders not to mention the quadruple homicide in January.

Have an address for this McDonald's? North Tulsa isn't very safe and hearing about this doesn't surprise me.

I've tried it both ways. I actually did a test last night and wrote down what happened.
