That's what I'm talking about TAM! Rock on brother. The Annoyed Man wrote:I carried on stage again today. Regarding hugging, I'm left handed, and I go in left arm low and right arm up, and that seems to work for other people. But often, just before going out on the stage for the first service, we (the band) gather for a moment of prayer, in a circle with our arms around the persons on either side of us—sometimes around the shoulder, sometimes around the waist. Everybody in the band pretty much knows by now that I carry. I can't say that I've ever had anyone's hand rest on my gun, but it has happened to my backup magazine, and nobody batted an eye or said a thing. I honestly don't worry about it anymore. The people whose opinions I care about in the matter don't really care.......so I don't care either. It's kind of like open carrying without open carrying.
BTW, we rocked the building, but Jesus rocked the body.

Re: Carry in Church
Today was my first time carrying at church. I am the pastor of the church and was kind of self conscious when it came time to hug members or raise my hands to speak (it's a deaf church so the service is in ASL).
One of my members who had been away for a while came to me afterwards and told me about her ordeal over the last year with her violent abusive ex-husband. She warned me that he may be showing up at church to "cause more trouble." We are a small congregation with no security. I am glad I finally got my CHL (3 days ago) and will carry everytime I step in the pulpit.
