Re: Does your bank....
My bank, Brazos Valley Schools Credit Union accepts bulk coins in their machines. The machine is in the vaults with the safety deposit boxes, so you have to get a clerk to assist, but they do everything for you and give you your money in cash or deposit in your account.

Congratulations to both of you! I think you have a real keeper. I'm going to get married this year. If my wife and I are as happy as you two seem to be together, I think we will be just fine. Also, congrats to you TAM and TAW! :thewave It seems marriage these days is taken too lightly, but then agai...

Oh my, sometimes logical points get you nowhere, at least you didn't somehow get sucked into the discussion with the office manager.
As they say: Don't let the facts get in the way of a good story.

Re: Former Eagle Randy Meisner - Wife Shot to Death
The only time my deer rifles had one in the chamber was when we were out in the field about to set up as part of the set up process. Once the hunt is over, the rifles all get unloaded and put into hard cases.

It really doesn't take that long, I filed mine a while ago. I want to say it was in the mailbox in 14-21 calendar days. You should be good until you get your new license.

I very much enjoyed his crime stoppers videos. I'm sure another parish in LA will pick him up. Or, he may run for Sheriff himself.

Re: Houston Livestock Show/Rodeo to Prohibit OC
Most of the news agencies that ran the story stated that CC was banned last year as well, I think they may be getting confused with the NRG Stadium portion rather than the whole event. The HLSR seems to be immune from scrutiny of the local news outlets, they have numerous "legal experts", ...

I think what The Wall is trying to convey is that the business has clearly stated they are not supporters of the second amendment, thus The Wall will not patronize such business regardless of sign compliance.

Re: Littoral "Combat" Ships...Bargain, Death Trap, or Both?
I agree, piracy is a problem, but until it starts affecting American sailors and American shipping, the US will provide minimal effort in deterring piracy. The Maersk Alabama had a large number of American crewmen, but more importantly, registered as a US vessel with a port of Norfolk Virginia.

Re: Littoral "Combat" Ships...Bargain, Death Trap, or Both?
I don't think the current administration really wants to fight pirates. We have all the ability to fight pirates we need. Do pirates attack Navy vessels or do they go after merchant vessels they can hold for ransom? Where's the pirate treasure in attacking naval vessels? We could stop pirates from ...

Re: Littoral "Combat" Ships...Bargain, Death Trap, or Both?
Sounds like we need to recommission the USS Missouri and USS Wisconsin. Maybe build that proposed Montana class ship, it would be faster than the Iowa class with more firepower, but less armor. The modern navy seems to be building for quantity rather than quality. I don't expect the service of these...

I kind of lost faith in him when I saw him use a brass hammer directly on a pin rather than a punch on lower he was building resulting in the hammer marring the finish of the lower quite a bit.

Re: Raising the Dumbest Generation in US History
I completed my core curriculum at Blinn College in Brenham, it's a small town with a nice campus and a small student body. The government, economics, and history professors really did enjoy what they are doing and genuinely care about their students learning, sadly a majority of the students feel th...

It's good to know there's restaurants out there with this position. Definitely not the "common sense" gun position that the other side tries to put out there.
