Because you can't win by insulting the voters and they mostly believe her or they wouldn't have voted for her to begin with.

I beg to differ. I do not think she is the dumbest person to hold office. With people thinking we have been to Mars and that too many people could tip an island over, I don't think she is the stupidest. I will stipulate she is definitely in the running though.

And as I typed this, I noticed that all of the people in the running seem to be from the same party. There is an old saying that once is bad luck, twice is a coincidence, but three times is almost always enemy action. If I were a Democrat, I would be looking real hard at the party leaders helping get these people elected.

While the impression given to everyone is that the woman was forced to drink from a toilet bowl, any officer can tell you that the only toilet in a jail cell usually is a combined steel unit with a toilet seat and a back that has a regular sink on top of it (think the tank of a regular toilet with a sink molded into the top of it). So, yes, she was forced to drink from the toilet unit, but it is a regular sink just like everyone else drinks from too. AOC may not have looked at it to know, but I would bet she is deliberately lying about it. She also claimed she forced her way into a cell. I doubt she could force anyone to open the door to a cell to let her in, but simply asked if she could go in and was given permission.
