Sorry I missed it. My wife decided we had other plans for today.
Are we going to make it a regular day of the month, say the last Saturday each month? That would let me put it on the calendar far enough ahead that she would know and not make other plans (yeah, right!).

I am going to try to attend, bringing a Glock 22C and a Guardian .380. My problem is that I have three kids that want to come, bringing their 22 rifles. My truck won't seat all four of us though and I am not sure if the wife wants to go or not yet. Anyone in the Luling/San Marcos area willing to help transport a kid (teenager that is)?

Just a quick note of correction when you talk to Eagle Peak. Not all of us have CHL's. For example, I do not have one since I carry based on my peace officer status. If we had a get together like this, I would also like to bring my kids unless there was an objection and they would not have one either.
I don't mind making us, including me and the kids, sit through a safety briefing, but I would not be able to show up if the concept was based on just CHL holders.
