Whew, I dunno Kevin...I do see what you mean though in that context, but lets say you purchase this "thing"...

And that thing is stolen property???

I thought it was a crime to be in posession of stolen property...Whether you bought it or it was given to you???

Somebody will correct me if I am wrong, I am sure...No prob...

Now, maybe I thought if you didn't know it was stolen, you'd still have to have that figured out in court...etc etc...Right???

But in any event I would still not go through with a purchase like this without a full disclosure from a separate source...Especially in this case where I think it would be good just to get a confirming story from the Dad, just to be sure everything was "cool"...

It would be for everyone's protection...In cases like this, I believe that is prudent...

Then why is his Dad allowing him to sell it??? And not Dad..."Full Permission"??? Why???

I would think that there would be no cause for any question at that point...

Run fast, run far my friend, no matter how good a deal this looks to be...This does not pass the smell test...

But thats just my opinion...Others may differ and often do, and that doesn't hurt my feelings one bit...
