I have a little card in my wallet, that when I call the number it mobilizes an attorney to get to you as fast as possible, ready, knowledgable on firearms and the Texas CHL law...Its cheaper in the long run to have one of these contracts, than to wait and find out how tolerable police investigators are if you are involved in a shooting incident,whether it was justified or not...sawdust wrote:I'm in a minority.
One on-going piece of advice on this and in other venues, is to "call your lawyer". I don't have a lawyer. I don't know a lawyer. The one time I had a lawyer, he lost me 27 million dollars. I don't want to call him again.
So the question is: How many of you have lawyers that are ready to represent you, on retainer, or whatever. Spousal attorneys or ones in the immedate family do not count.
Don't give them (investigators) an excuse to figure it out that first night...
