Re: Carrying on high school tennis courts question?
Where are you located? We have a tennis league in duncanville high school every monday night. Winter league will start second week of jan. Contact me if you're local and interested. Happy hitting! Hey, that's really kind of you to invite me. I just googled it though and you are about 50 miles from ...

Re: Carrying on high school tennis courts question?
In the situation you are talking about, as long as there is no school activity going on in your location you are ok. If there were any school event going on in that area it would be a no-go. Interestingly, I emailed my instructor, and I was surprised to hear him say that he believes premises are pr...

Re: Carrying on high school tennis courts question?
Thanks for your input. Due to me being more vulnerable out there alone on the tennis courts with not a soul in sight, I think I would feel much more unsafe than at the Pop Warner Football game. To me it's all about vulnerability. Well, I hope I get some assurance that's it's legal for the tennis cou...

Carrying on high school tennis courts question?
Hi all, I have a question about carrying my concealed handgun while practicing my tennis at the local public high school. I appreciate your help. Here is the scenario: I am getting back into tennis and I purchased a tennis ball machine and one of the places I like to go practice is at the local publ...

Re: Lesson Learned - Gym nonCarry
Sorry to hear this. Breakins are fairly common at both gyms I work out at. Which is why for the past 10 years, I carry a small bag with me on the floor. It holds my wallet, and any other valuables including my ruger lcp. Yes, I carry my gun with me on the gym floor in a bag. A ruger lcp. A few years...

Re: Dallas Police Officer threatens to Revoke my license
There has never been a duty to show your CHL unless you are armed. (I recommend doing so anyway.) In 2009, we removed the penalty for failing to display your CHL even if you are armed. If the officer does submit an affidavit to DPS for suspension, his incompetency will be on display for everyone. C...

Does anyone else think it's funny when the guy says......
"Experts out there will tell you that a .22 is useless (for self defense).....but uh.....there's a lot of dead people that could tell you different." This guy cracks me up. I like that little gun too. He says it just after the 3 minute mark.......it's funny I think: http://www.youtube.com/...

Allowing people to post comments that mock and belittle a legitimate question. Great Policy. That will really encourage people to participate.tbrown wrote:As someone without a dog in the fight, let me ask, are you familiar with forum rule number two?

Re: Do I have to hide my handgun while changing/dressing in
Moderators......did you remove my posts? If so, why do you allow the responses that do nothing but mock and belittle the original question and delete my rebuke to them? Just curious. And do you think allowing those who belittle and mock good questions is productive here and encourages others to ask ...

Re: Do I have to hide my handgun while changing/dressing in
Good discussion. I think I disagree with one aspect though. If the OP removes the firearm under a towel or whatever and does his best to hide it and place in the locker, hiding all the way, and someone somehow gets a little glimpse under the corner of a towel or whatever, to me, that is unintention...

Re: Do I have to hide my handgun while changing/dressing in
Leave it in the car? :iagree: I know several people that have had wallets & other items stolen from locked lockers while at 24 hour fitness and Lifetime. An alarm on your car/truck and a bolted down console vault is also a good idea as vehicles get hit in gym parking lots too. Good point. Gym p...
