Compared to those nut jobs Cornyn ain't so bad. I just wish we had more time before his seat comes up. That way he'd either have to make a true course correction or we could replace him. But putting another freshman senator in when Cruz would only have 2 years in his seat wouldn't be good for Texas at all.JALLEN wrote:I hear what you are saying but Sen. I was initially hesitant to support a relative unknown to fill our outgoing Senator's seat. But he seemed to be the lesser of 2 evils (an unknown with very little political experience vs Dewhurst: an entrenched politico who seems to have undergone a gradual shift in political philosophy away from the conservative values that I favor). I can honestly say that I'm very pleasantly surprised by Senator Cruz's first few months in office & I hope that he keeps it up.
