Re: Mutiple Non-Resident CHLs - My Latest Info
I actually do travel a lot, and like to carry for protection whenever I do (plus I attend gun shows in other states when I have a chance...like to collect...I have my FFL 03 license). Anyway, I have all the licenses mentioned (TX, AZ, FL, UT, NH, ME, CT), plus I also have my MA (yes, it is expensive...

Very prompt in getting back to the selling FFL dealer with paperwork and easy transfer to complete (and at a great price) when the firearm is received. Thanks, Jeff!

Re: Which other states CHL to get?
If you want to add states... And I don't know the difficulty of any of these, but was curious... Connecticut adds Connecticut. (Can get thru the mail) Florida adds Ohio. (Can get thru the mail but only gives you one state) Idaho adds Ohio. (Must apply in person and only gives you one state) Maine a...

Re: Best CHLs to Have for Reciprocity
FLORIDA = (OH & WA) (2 states) Or Utah give you the same two states for less money. You are correct...the Utah non-resident license is without a doubt cheaper than the Florida non-resident license ($51 vs. $70) for the initial application, but the Florida permit is good for 7 years and the Utah...

Re: Reciprocity Map
Getting a non-resident CHL from Virginia gets Ohio as well! You can also pick up Maine and Connecticut with non-resident CHL's for each of those states.

New Range in Mesquite
There is a pretty new gun range in Mesquite at The Gun Zone (on the west bound frontage road of I-30 just a little ways west of the I-30/I-635 interchange). It is a very nice well lit climate controlled range! The store front has been there a while now. Very friendly staff with a nice selection of f...
