Re: Where Did You Graduate?
When I hear "TSU" I don't think Texas State. (aka Southwest Texas) Do Texas State grads routinely call it TSU? If you were referring to my post, I was referring to Texas Southern. I will always consider the place in San Marcos "Southwest Texas" as it was when I was IN college. I...

Re: Dishonorable Disclosures....
:mad5 For 22 years, both OPSEC and COMSEC were part of my daily life. If I had spoken about the tiniest part of it, I would have probably been executed as a traitor. Even my wife had any idea what I knew. I don't think I was ever in quite as dire of straits regarding disclosures as you describe, bu...

Re: Images in Replies
I have seen forums where quoted images and videos in replies get converted to links. If someone wants to click they can but it saves cluttering up the screen with a half dozen copies of the same picture in a thread.

I think the people who aren't thieves should cut them off. Literally if necessary.

My religion requires me to carry a gun. If the cops can't remove her scarf, they can't remove my gun.

Re: Invalid 30.06?
IF I was confronted at one of these places (very few scenarios come up where I would be) by an officer, I'd honestly say that I didn't receive notice and ask for permission to leave now that I have received it. Unless you just stopped an active shooter, don't be surprised if he arrests you and lets...

Re: Trying something out
Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary, Over many a quaint and curious volume of forgotten lore, While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping, As of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. "'Tis some visitor," I muttered, "tapping at...

Following that logic we could save a lot of time and money by making the class optional. I like it!

Re: 17y/o Killed By Neighborhood Watch/CHL
Haven't read this thread in about 60 pages. Did I miss anything? ;-) No. Some people still think the man who got kicked out of school multiple times for drugs and possession of stolen property probably started the fight. Other people still blame the local resident who started it by getting out of h...

Re: Renewal: Too easy to be true
Once you hit the six month mark there's no disadvantage to applying early unless you're really short on cash or time and the situation will improve soon.
