And Chief Acevido was a real piece of work. He told so many lies it got hard to pick out the truths from what he said. Maybe there were none?

I got a little lost on the amendments. I think the one amendment was a requirement that the weapons on campus be concealed (but I may be mistaken on that). There was discussion that a number of other amendments would be debated on the floor.

Both bills passed committee, both by a 7-2 vote.

Haven't you heard? University/college is supposed to be a safe comfy multi-cultural diverse place where no one ever says anything that the university doesn't approve of, or makes you uncomfortable, never mind "stressed." Hence "trigger warnings", expelling boys without due process, cancelling tenure for conservative professors, etc.

Not just safe and comfy, but sacred according to the one guy...

Then there's the guy that kept talking about those legislators being "protected" because "federal buildings" are off-limits for guns. I guess his classes haven't covered the differences between state and federal yet. Then there's the lady that talked about 1/3 of all gun deaths involving 18-20 year olds, without noting that you have to be outside that age-group to get a CHL.
