Re: Two arrested at Austin Capitol during open carry rally
I often wonder if these type of people in these videos are too lazy or just don't want to go through the process to get a CHL. Or maybe they are ineligible to get a CHL because of some past history and this is possibly why they advocate so strongly and in such a manner for open carry, just so they can carry a weapon. I really can't imagine anyone that has a CHL going and acting the way those people do and yelling the horrendous obscenities to those DPS troopers the way they did. I know I sure wouldn't. I was brought up much differently than that.

I sure hope not, but you've got a valid point there.Oldgringo wrote:I sometimes wonder if these sort of displays/shows/events are put on/encouraged/sponsored, etc. by some anti-gun liberals to show the television/newspaper world how stupid and irresponsible some, and by inference all, gun owners are?

I guess I don't understand the point they are trying to make with the black powder pistols.Right2Carry wrote:You would think those idiots would have learned by now that they are going to be arrested if they carry black powder pistols.philip964 wrote:http://www.chron.com/news/texas/article ... cmpid=hpts
Did not identify themselves. Given the opportunity to leave. Open carrying black powder pistols.
I am unfamiliar with the law regarding open carrying black powder pistols made before 1900.
Or for that matter for failing to identify yourself when asked by LEO.
