Incidentally, when I carry a fixed-blade it's the Trigonaut, designed by David Mosier:
The knife is superb. It's a full-tang, hefty chunk of S30V.
My gripe is the sheath. It's designed to position the knife, OWB, almost parallel to the belt. Impossible to conceal.
I had another company make a custom sheath that rides IWB on my offside, at about 30-degrees.
Perfecto.

My primary folder-carry is the Kershaw SpecBump. S30V steel, speed-assist opening, and it can be switched quickly and securely into a P'Kal-type reverse-edge weapon position. You can see that from the design of the hilt.
