Hello all, I’ve been a silent member of the forum for nearly a year now. This last week finally received my CHL and completed my timeline. This was very exciting to me as I was 20 years old when I joined and turned 21 in early December. I took the class a couple of weeks before my birthday to ensure receiving my CHL as quickly as possible. Once I had plastic in hand, I put it in my wallet and holstered up my Glock 23, and went on with the rest of my day. Since receiving it I’ve taken a few trips to Walmart, out to eat a few times and just normal out and about stuff with some friends, all while carrying. However, I am a college student so I still do remain unarmed for moderate amounts of times on most days during the week.

All in all the wait was not so fun (especially when you wait a year just to apply to wait), but it does in fact end.
