Re: Introduce yourself
Welcome everyone! This a great place to chat with others and get some useful information. I'm sure some of you have already figured that out because you have lurked for awhile before joining as I did. I look forward to engaging in some good conversation with y'all.

Hi Everyone ,
I have newly joined the forums but I have been reading them for quite some time now. I found them when researching the Texas CHL requirements. What I found was so much more than rules. I was Switzerland. I wasn't for gun control and neither was I against it. I lived in the dark about gun issues and even now I'm still learning. I (much like many people) was herded by the media who tainted my perception about guns by planting images of "gun evil". A home invasion about 3 years ago was the wake up call that I needed to open up my eyes and learn about the truth behind gun control. I couldn't believe I was dooped for so long. For those of you that may not be sure, I'm against gun control and for the 2nd ammendment. I thank you for helping to educate me and others on this important issue as well as the many firearm/carry topics. I hope to be communicating with you more in the future.
Here's my timeline for CHL:
12/10 CHL Class
12/10 Online Application
12/14 Fingerprints
12/16 Mailed Packet
12/19 Delivery Confirmation
12/21 DPS updated BG check under review
