I took my first trip to the range after the repair and my LC9 is working fine so far. Put about 60 rounds through it.
MoJo - I hear your point on being a beta tester. I've learned my lesson and next time I'll wait until a model has been on the market a little longer. I think that's decent, common sense advice.

Re: LC9 broke after 150 rounds
Received my repaired LC9 from Ruger today.
Items replaced: Firing Pin Spring, Hammer Catch Spring, and Firing Pin
Ruger fired 42 rounds without malfunction
Now I'm trying to decide if I can trust this 9mm after some range time or if I should just buy a PPS and move on? It's hard carrying a gun you don't really trust. In any event, the service experience went fine.

Re: LC9 broke after 150 rounds
As others said, the call to Ruger went well. The company emailed me a UPS overnight label and I shipped the LC9 today. Off it goes to Ruger.

LC9 broke after 150 rounds
Bought the LC9 a couple weeks ago and really like it -- thin, great for carry, etc.
Today at the range the trigger stopped working. I'm able to pull the trigger but the hammer does nothing. Employee at the range looked at it and told me theirs had the exact same problem, breaking over and over, and after 5 trips back to Ruger they just stopped renting it out. He said theirs broke around every 100 rounds. Mine made it to about 150. Something about a spring breaking.
Yes I know it's not a range gun but 150 rounds is kind of soon for a malfunction. Calling Ruger tomorrow!
