Re: Custom 1911
How far away is their anniversary? My custom 1911 gunsmith has a one year backlog. My custom Colts took over three years to complete.

How long has it been since the first cases in the US were diagnosed? Shouldn't they have recovered by now? Excellent question. It looks like the first case reported in the US was the Chicago case reported here, and referenced on WHO sitreps, on 24 Jan. I find no reports of "recovered" tho...

Re: 30.06 Ruling Letters
OUCH!!! I am a little confused by the issue surrounding the typical "no guns" sign. The silhouette inside a red circle with a slash through the gun. Are they saying it is similar to or the same as a 30.06 and 30.07 even though it doesn't have the wording to accompany it? Yup. That is conf...

$175 plus shipping is quite a chunk of change. If you have not changed the return spring lately, that is the first place I would go. Followed by extractor tuning if springs did not correct the problem. Followed by a Colt or Springfield hat.

Re: "Criminal Motorcycle Gang" and LTC
This has been an informative and clarifying discussion. In regard to this case, were the accused carrying a handgun "in plain view" the officer would have articulated that as the reason for the stop rather than the "67 in a 60" speeding charge. Further, the officer checked the ac...

The crime of unlawfully carrying a weapon is defined in TXPC 46.02. There are exceptions (technically defenses to prosecution) laid out in 46.15. Being a LEO, Fed, having LTC , traveling, sporting activity, etc. If the person charged has a 46.15 exception (defense) that applies, the prosecution mus...
