It took 46 days from the day DPS recieved my package to the day my license was issued

I could not believe how helpful they were when I called the first time. The lady I spoke to told me where I was in the process and then followed up with me a couple of days later (today) telling me they issued the license 12/7/06 So for all those in the same time frame give them a call and see where...

Just posting an update,
I spoke to DPS today as and they said the only thing the are waiting on is for a tech to verify one document with Tarrant county everything else is finished. My fingerprints and background came back good. So I am almost there.

Got home from Work grabbed the mail as usual and saw a letter from the Regulatory Licensing dept. of the DPS fully expecting something to have to be redone I opened it to find my PIN #


guess that means I am at least half way through.

Took exactly 30 days to the day to get my PIN.

Thanks for clearing that up, it makes more sense now. I have a lot of waiting to do.

I am fairly new to this but I thought if they didnt deny you then at 60 days they must issue the license.

Now I am probably incorrect but that what I got out of my class.

ok that is scary cause mine was rcvd by DPS on the 23rd of Oct. and I have yet to here anything from them.
I know that Tuesday will mark the 30th day. That they have had my application.

llwatson thanks for the update. When I left work last night I still see an emtpy field so I am guessing either they ran into issues and are delayed in building. i emailed the owners yesterday but have not heard back yet.

Hopefully they will be able to break ground before the new year.

Any update on this place? I work right across from where they say they are going to break ground and have not seen anything but the grass grow?

I checked the website and no updates either.

It would be great to have somewhere to go shoot at lunch!
