~ 1,000 rounds of even basic 55-grain 5.56/.223 brass case run you about $350
The sight looks like a basic cheap model from Academy or similar ~ $100 or less (plan to spend some money on something better - that rifle deserves premium optics)
I've shot some OBRs in 5.56 and 7.62 NATO and it is by far the nicest AR platform rifle I've ever fired
