Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Republicans should repeal them all or admit they're socialists and push single payer for everybody.

It's crazy to have "free" or subsidized healthcare for everybody except the people who work and pay taxes. Or should I say, the suckers who work and pay taxes.

Say, brother, where do I get me one of those Obamaphones?

Nope. Now Trump, Ryan and the rest of them own all the bad parts of Obamacare they refused to repeal when they had the chance. As far as I'm concerned, the financial penalty for opting out is now called the Trump Tax.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Barack Obama also weighed in on the proposed legislation, one of the few moments that the former president has commented on current political events since leaving office.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

Costs go up when buyers pay with OPM.

Look at higher education. The main accomplishment of government subsidized student loans was to enable tuition to rise much faster than inflation.

Look at the housing bubble caused by the government requiring banks to loan money to bad risk customers.

Look at hotels business travelers choose when paying with the corporate expense account compared to when it comes out of their pocket.
