John Farnam At the "Impactzone"
A class with John Farnam will be held at Phil Oxley’s “The Impactzone. January 20-21 2007.
I will make arrangements to have a place on the west end of town to have our 7 pm Friday the 19th evening lecture.
This will be an Advanced Handgun class with a Sunday morning segment of shotgun and carbine. Plan on working late Saturday night for as segment in low light. As usual, if you do not have a shotgun or carbine I will have loaners. Just let me know ahead of time.
If there is enough interest we will bring Vicki Farnam in also to offer a class for Basic Handgun. If you are interested or have any friends or loved ones who could benefit I will see about setting that up too.
The class fee is $495.00. I will need a $200.00 non refundable deposit to hold your spot. The balance of $295.00 will be due at the Friday evening lecture or if you can not attend the lecture it will be due Saturday morning. Make checks payable to D.T.I. These classes fill quickly...
Clients should have eye (for day and dark) protection that offers side protection.
Muff type hearing protection.
A bill forward cloth hat.
Long sleeve shirt that buttons at the neck.
Clothing for seasonal weather.
Unless you are working out of your duty rig concealment is required.
Knee and elbow protection are a good idea.
A handgun that works.
A spare handgun is a good idea but not mandatory.
Three or more speed loaders or magazines.
Good holster, belt and magazine carrier. (Soft sewn nylon holsters do not serve well for this type work).
A flashlights or two and spare batteries.
Sun screen. Any meds you might require.
1000 rounds of pistol ammo.
200 rounds of rifle ammo.
150 rounds of bird shot.
5 rounds of slug.
(Please don’t bring reloads. We’ll never stop talking about you).
Hint: If you insist on using Wolf steel case ammo, be sure to bring a few extra firearms in that caliber unless it was designed for steel case ammo.
Please keep in mind that The Impactzone is a semi remote location.
I will provide bottled water but if you want something else bring plenty. “Hydrate or die!
You can bring your own meals or join us at Repka’s.
This is truly a great opportunity to study from one of the masters.
We filled 5 spots in less that a week!
