I have a pregnant lady that just took the CHL classroom portion of the class and was going to have to wait until after she delivers her baby to do the s...

Re: Where to rent/shoot a .50BMG in Texas??
Well, actually, at my home range - Eagle Gun Range in Lewisville, you don't pay until you are leaving, but that's not what I meant. He is coming from Australia and trying to book the time to rent and shoot the .50BMG and they are requesting he pays to even book the time before he gets here. Maybe it...

Where to rent/shoot a .50BMG in Texas??
I am trying to help out someone coming in from Australia in August. He is looking for somewhere to rent and shoot a .50 BMG while he is here. He has been in touch with Tac Pro in Mingus, but said he feels like he is getting a little bit of a runaround and now they are asking for payment up front. Th...

Re: Can I shoot an animal that is a threat?
Wow, y'all have been busy while I was away. :P I need to take a closer look at some of these responses when it isn't after midnight. My original thought that led me to post this question was about wild animals. (ie: one of my son's preschool teachers was chased by a coyote while she was riding her b...

Can I shoot an animal that is a threat?
Question for y'all: As a CHL holder, if I am being chased or attacked by a wild or domestic animal that has put me in fear of my life or my child's life, would I be legally justified in shooting it?

Thanks for clearing that up! That's what I thought, but it looked like a couple of people above mentioned mailing in the CHL-100s.
I appreciate the info!

Shooting qualification by CHL instructor for retired LE??
I am a fairly new CHL instructor working at a gun range. I had a gentleman call me saying he has a Federal license which will need to be renewed soon and his state license just ran out a few days ago. He asked if we had anyone that could do his shooting qualification and insisted that he didn't have...

CHL eligibility for someone under psychiatric care?
Hey friends! I have a question for you. My sister in law wants to get her CHL and was worried about the class and testing for getting her CHL because she has ADHD in a bad way. She is currently seeing a psychiatrist to find a medication that will help with that and her anxiety, but apparently hasn't...
