Yep. That quote is from Brass Monkey, who has been absent from this forum for quite some time.
Couple of years ago some new Kerrville residents (from the Left Coast) didn't like hearing gun shots in the city (discharging a firearm or hunting in the city limits is okay
) - they thought it was "dangerous" and "somebody is going to get hurt"
so they petitioned the City Council about the dangerous situation. Council met talked about it and decided that everything was just fine the way it is now, or to paraphrase,
