Re: XDm 4.5 or M&P too big to conceal?

Just one small point. You can dress around almost any defensive pistol absolutely, but body type does come in to it. It is my opinion that if you are taller and more broadly (generously) built it is easier to conceal a larger pistol IWB in summer clothes. Personally in light trousers and a tshirt / ...

When people deploy to the sandbox they typically have a loaded weapon with 3 inches of them at all times.

But at home...not.

Not sure how this makes sense.

Re: Do you and your spouse/SO have a plan.

In a situation like this I think of General Patton. Make your plans by all means. But recognize that no plan survives first contact with the enemy. Stay sharp, evaluate, adapt, and overcome.

I think my work is done here.

Re: Do you and your spouse/SO have a plan.

We've had this discussion too. My wife doesn't carry yet though (I'm selling it). My number one priority would be get my wife out of the way and if necessary draw fire until I could get my s together. Not much of a plan but if it came down to it I'd be thinking, 'Poor observation Brightside...Poor O...

Erm, my Doberman-Coon mix defends *us*. She darn near killed a friend's pit-bull (she was provoked badly but it was very embarrassing as we were their lunch guests). Can't really see where I'd need to protect her tbh. You never know what situation will present itself next. Next time could be ...

Re: Introduce yourself

It was nice to meet you both too. It is a Glock 36, the red-haired step-child of the Glock family but I like it. And thanks for letting me shoot your 1911 - nothing quite like the trigger on a nicely fettled 1911... I am MrBrightside and I am here because I met Papa and Bad Apple today. We struck up...

Re: Crossbreed holsters are worth the wait

They're worth the wait. I have two supertucks and as people said, once they conform to your body you can almost forget you are carrying.

And it's a 100% made in the USA product. :coolgleamA:

If he's shooting, so am I.
Yup, me too.
Me too even though it is perhaps legally inadvisable.

Trijicon. They cost a little bit more but they are worth it IMO...

They are well built and I can attest to the fact that they can take a beating and still work.

So hello!

Re: Anyone have Glock shooting tips?

*First Post*. :) Nice to meet **Papa** and **Bad Apple** today at the range! Glock shooting tips? Put some decent sights on your glock - the factory ones are awful. 70% grip with your left hand. 30% with your right. Breathe, relax, squeeze... Sounds easy doesn't it? I found them hard to shoot to beg...
