I imagine it happens quite a bit if people happen to call on the day something changes. It seems to be fairly clear that the website is updated in the mornings with what was entered into the computer from the day before.wacolivin wrote:Has anyone seen an example of where an individual called in to DPS and was told one thing regarding their application status and the website indicated something else? Mine took a little over 5 weeks and cool arrow's took about 4. A few others too took a little while too and as I recall there was one guy from July who still may be waiting. Still, that's a LOT faster than it was just a few months ago.

I beg to differ on the upper range of the time for the BG check to complete. I'm too lazy to do the math, but I'd say the average is about 2-3 weeks with some being quicker and some longer.
