While the asthetics is part of it, using the gun for IDPA or 2/3 gun I can't use the laser and afraid of the rail hanging up when reholstering.
Thanks, but I did finally find a non-railed version at a similar great price.
It's a great gun for a great price ... it won't last long.

Re: FS: SIG 1911 Railed TACPAC $859
No FFL I use in that area.
I'm not crazy about that rail. Recently sold a Scorpion because of it.
Let me break open the youngest son's piggy bank and check the couch cusions to see how many pennies I can scrounge.

CHL - mental health Qs
I've had my CHL for a couple years. While no expert, I've had a few friends and relatives ask questions about getting a CHL. A relative was over and we were talking about hunting, guns and it turned to concealed carry. He is diagnosed Bi-polar and takes a daily med cocktail. He has been hospitalized...

Allen Gun Show - Dec 3/4
Disappointed.
Went on Sunday.
Maybe it was picked over.
But just not a lot of tables.
And even less inventory.
But it was a gun show!

Thanks for the thoughts Zylo ... I guess my situation boils down to a couple key points that I need to work out ... First of all ... is there any worldly posession I have worth taking another person's life over. Everything I own is insured, so ... Second ... will I be able to recognize that my or a ...

Re: 6 month after recieving my license ...
Everyone who carries 24/7 isn't paranoid. That IS a term often used by anti-gun folks with regard to those who carry a handgun for personal protection. As I said in an earlier post, to each his own. You asked if we agreed and it is obvious that most of us who are posting don't. I fixed your post ci...

Yes, I will renew when the time comes. Mrs. Oldgringo...probably not. We will run parallel courses ... You only get on chance at getting this right. RJ And probably once at getting it wrong, as well. Until I read this, I was thinking, "to each, his own," and willing to stay out of t...
