Pretty much, this.

Arming this countries enemies in order to strip American citizens of their rights?

How is this anything but treason? :mad5 :mad5
You say treason. Obama says business as usual.

Re: HELP! my XD is broken

Now your post makes sense to me. My point is that with the XD, the practice of placing ones thumb on the rear of the slide provides an added measure of safety. I agree. Trigger finger is primary but mechanical safeties help as long as we don't use them as an excuse to get sloppy with trigger finger...

Re: CHL Category - Why SA/NSA?

Does anyone actually know (not just guessing) what the rationale was for having the two categories of CHL License for non-semiauto vs all types? Ignorance of firearms. I know some people will say security guards or other excuses, but when you dig down past tradition, you find ignorance. I can take ...

no not that kind the boom kind. Yes the TSA has now said that they think terrorists will implant bombs to get through security. I can only imagine what the TSA checkpoints will look like now   http://www.cnn.com/2011/US/07/06/bomb.implants/index.html?hpt=hp_t2" onclick="wind...

Re: Passage of TX Senate Bill 321

Quite a few other states have passed parking lot laws over the past 3-4 years and we haven't heard of issues in those locations. I doubt many, if any, companies will go through that much trouble to try and find a loophole in the law to work around it. Usually after the initial fight, they just go a...

Re: Gun purchase question

46.07 deals with Texas residents purchasing firearms in another state. There's nothing about selling to a non-resident in there. PC §46.07. INTERSTATE PURCHASE. A resident of this state may, if not otherwise precluded by law, purchase firearms, ammunition, reloading components, or firearm accessori...

Re: Perry making a presidential run

They understand but are corrupted by power. The founding fathers saw the same thing in their time and knew the solution but Americans have forgotten over the centuries. The 4th is now about BBQ, fireworks and sales, not standing up to government officials who go too far.

Re: HELP! my XD is broken

The thumb helps keep the gun in battery and ready to fire. The most important is keeping your finger off the trigger unless you want to shoot. That works for XD, FN, revolvers, rifles, shotguns and detonators. I don't quite track the point your trying to make. The thumb should never be used to keep...

Re: The Disarming of America --a liberal's dream

I'm not quite sure I'd buy into your 60% number. I'd honestly say you could expect something like 2% tops. It's one thing to shoot clay pigeons, paper targets, and steel plate. It's quite another to point it at somebody and be willing to stop them from doing something that it not directly related t...

Re: Update; grapevine mills mall "30.06"

Curious, and not to hijack my own update, but: is it legal to post 30.06 at great Wolf Lodge? As a hotel, it is your 'residence' for the length of your paid stay; so you can carry there. At least, that's what my last CHL class said. Or is just the waterpark part posted? (not that you'd have an easy...

It's a house of God. I'm not convinced any mortal has "apparent authority" to tell me His will.

If I really wanted to be a jerk, as the owner of a corporation, I could start another corporation (with a different address/P.O. Box) that would then employ all of my current employees. The new corporation would then contract labor to my original corporation. All employees at the original site woul...

Re: SD: Parole once again fails miserably

In South Dakota, a 41-year-old man who was released on parole allegedly broke into the home of a 75-year-old woman, stabbed her to death, and stole her car. Unfortunately for Prof. Moriarty, the car was equipped with OnStar. The police arrested him near near Madison, Wisconsin. The suspect allegedl...
