This guy is a former Muslim brotherhood member that has become a Christian. He is somewhat controversial and there are those that try to discredit him. However, I think he gives some good insight. He spoke at our church a few years ago and I had the opportunity to visit with him. What he had to say about the Muslim religion and the extremist is very eye opening.

You know what's really the biggest shame here.... ??
Did anyone see even a single cartoon from a single contestant anywhere in any media? Certainly not on TV. Not even on Fox.
If you still think Pam Geller was directing her event AT Muslims, you're welcome to think that. I think she was talking to you and me and all those chickens on TV that didn't show any cartoons. Not even for the news value. That made her point more clearly than anything that was said that day in Garland.

Shameful.
A strict reading of the Koran, just like a strict reading of the Bible is counter to the Bill of Rights. Most Christians don't strictly read the Bible, especially when it comes into conflict with Jesus' own words. However, many Muslims do not follow that path and do not read their Prophet Jesus' words enough.

It sounds like they never made it past the perimeter of the site before being shot by PD. The officer that took them down was using a 45 cal. Glock. He said they planned the extra security at the event at a cost of about $10K.mojo84 wrote:Whether the terrorists were using auto or semi-auto, that is one brave hero to do what he did under the conditions he did it in. Taking on fanatics with long guns with a pistol, and winning on top of that is pretty awesome!!!! Kudos to the officer for saving many lives.
I pray other terrorists will meet the same or similar fate when they attempt future attacks on our soil whether the first responder is a cop or not. We are all in this fight together and we need to be prepared and willing to respond. If not, the fanatical terrorists will win.

I don't understand why you quoted me. I also heard the police spokesman use the term "assault rifles". To me, that doesn't confirm whether they are auto or semi-auto as I've heard many police chiefs and spokesmen not make the distinction properly.
Regardless, I don't think the cop is any less a brave hero whatever the weapons they used.

ISIS takes credit for the attack.
Chas.
I thought "credit" was given for something that worked out as planned. I doubt the terrorist thugs thought they would get dropped before inflicting any real carnage.
