I went to the Tarrant county sub-courthouse off Granbury Road in South Fort worth, and I swear that they had a sign that said 30.05...blah blah blah... Chalk it up to Instructor misinformation if I missed this sign posting law. I don't know how...

Greetings-- You can request your own criminal history (background check) from the DPS. There is a fee involved. You also have to submit a set of fingerprint cards. If there is any history on your record, this should show it. It *should* also show the charge, date, and court of jurisdiction. However...
