The combination of a decent belt and the MTAC is a hard combination to beat. Comp-Tac has a very good belt for a good price if you want black that is. Their brown sucks. I carry a full sized 1911 at about 3 o’clock and it is comfortable enough that I tend to forget about it most of the time. I also tried the CTAC and it did not work for me at all.

I also have an Infidel, all Kydex with belt loops, that I carry a Glock 23 in at the same 3 o’clock. This holster has a ridge on it that sits just above the belt and rests on it. Keeps the holster in a canted position at all times. Very good holster. I also have one for my 1911’s but I use the MTAC more often.

I probably have 20 or 30 holsters in a box in the garage. Tried everything until I found Comp-Tac. Comp-Tac makes good products at a reasonable price and they deliver quickly. They also give a LEO discount. Great company!
